Brownsville (KFXV) -- Two are arrested and charged with theft after apparently trying to get away with merchandise from a Wal-Mart
It happened on the 27 hundred block of Boca Chica St in Brownsville.
The men were identified as 20 year old, Anthony Louis Arimendi and 19 year old, Samuel Vasquez.
Officers were told by store employees-- the "duo" took merchandise from the store and tried to get away in a white Nissan. Officers arrived and were able to intercept the two in the parking lot.
An officer also found marijuana and alcohol on them.
They are facing charges for possession of marijuana and alcohol possession by a minor, as well.
